Ein tasg yw sicrhau bod plant yn derbyn y gofal a'r amddiffyniad rhag cam-drin rhywiol y mae eu hangen arnynt ac maent yn eu haeddu, nawr ac yn y dyfodol.

Bydd yr ymchwiliad yn edrych ar a yw cyrff cyhoeddus a sefydliadau anwladwriaethol eraill yng Nghymru a Lloegr wedi cymryd eu cyfrifoldeb i amddiffyn plant rhag cam-drin rhywiol o ddifri, ac yn gwneud argymhellion ar gyfer newid yn y dyfodol. Yn Rhagfyr 2016, cyhoeddodd Cadeirydd yr Ymchwiliad, yr Athro Alexis Jay OBE, ganlyniadau ei hadolygiad mewnol i ddulliau'r Ymchwiliad o weithio. Mae'r adroddiad yn sefydlu sut fydd yr Ymchwiliad yn cyflawni ei waith mor fuan ac effeithiol â phosibl. Mae'r adolygiad yn ffocysu sylw'r Ymchwiliad ac yn sefydlu cynllun gwaith manwl ar gyfer 2017.

Final investigation announced

The Inquiry has announced its fifteenth and final investigation into Effective Leadership of Child Protection. The investigation will focus on practical experience of leadership and management, with a public hearing set to take place in 2020.

If you attend at the hearing centre, you may hear experiences of child sexual abuse which may impact you. We have support workers available at our hearing centre during public hearings. We can also suggest further help and support resources.
