An overarching inquiry into allegations of child sexual abuse and exploitation involving people of public prominence associated with Westminster.
This objective, fact-finding investigation will focus on allegations of abuse by people of public prominence associated with Westminster. It will examine high profile allegations of child sexual abuse involving current or former Members of Parliament, senior civil servants, government advisors, and members of the intelligence and security agencies. It will consider allegations of cover-up and conspiracy and will review the adequacy of law enforcement responses to these allegations.
There are no hearings scheduled today.
The Inquiry is not accepting applications for core participant status or requesting evidence just yet. We will do so soon and details of how to do this will be set out here. To keep up to date with our progress, hearings and applications, please check this page and News regularly.
Although we are not requesting evidence for our investigations at this stage, the Inquiry is encouraging all victims and survivors of child sexual abuse to share their experience.
