Four preliminary hearings to be held next week

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse will hold preliminary hearings in relation to four of its investigations next week.

The hearings will be held in the Inquiry’s hearing centre - 18 Pocock Street, London, SE1 0BW

The full details of the hearings are:

Tuesday 5 June 2018, 10.30 am - further preliminary hearing in relation to the English Benedictine Congregation case study in the Roman Catholic Church investigation

Wednesday 6 June 2018, 10.30 am - further preliminary hearing in relation to the Peter Ball case study in the Anglican Church investigation

Wednesday 6 June 2018, 2.00 pm - first preliminary hearing in relation to the Civil Orders case study in the Children Outside the UK investigation.

Thursday 7 June 2018, 10.30 am - second preliminary hearing in the Children in Custodial Institutions investigation

The hearings will discuss the progress of the investigations and give directions.

Preliminary hearings are not broadcast, but they are open to the press and public and live tweeting (subject to a three minute delay) is allowed. A transcript of the hearings will be available on our website a few hours later. Seats are allocated on a first come first served basis.
