Inquiry announces decision on core participant applications

Core participant status granted in the investigation into institutional responses to allegations of child sexual abuse concerning the late Lord Janner of Braunstone QC.

On 9 January 2017 the Inquiry received an application from Daniel Janner QC, Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner and Marion Janner OBE for core participant status in the investigation into institutional responses to allegations of child sexual abuse concerning the late Lord Janner of Braunstone QC.  In addition Daniel Janner QC and Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner sought designation both as the executors of the estate of their late father.

The Chair of the Inquiry, Professor Alexis Jay OBE, has today granted core participant status to Daniel Janner QC, Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner and Marion Janner on behalf of their late father’s estate.
