Inquiry announces award of contract for support services

18 May 2018

Following an open tender procurement process, West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WMRSASC) have been awarded a contract to provide support for victims and survivors and other stakeholders who engage with the Inquiry's work programme. The contract will run for an initial period until May 2020 

Two preliminary hearings to be held next week

Independent Inquiry publishes Interim Report

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse has published its Interim Report, setting out the work of the Inquiry and progress to date.

Inquiry announces publication date for Interim Report

17 April 2018

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse will be publishing its Interim Report on Wednesday 25 April 2018.

The report will be published on the Inquiry’s website at 12:00 noon.

The Interim Report will provide an overview of the work undertaken by the Inquiry so far and will set out what the Chair and Panel consider to be the key emerging themes from the Inquiry’s work to date and it will include recommendations for specific changes which will help to better protect children from sexual abuse.

Inquiry announces publication date for report into Cambridge House Boys’ Hostel, Knowl View School, and Rochdale Borough Council

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse will be publishing its report into the investigation into Cambridge House Boys’ Hostel, Knowl View School, and Rochdale Borough Council on 12 April 2018.  

The report will be published on the Inquiry’s website at 12:00 noon.

Inquiry Information Line opening times over Easter

The Inquiry Information Line will be closed on Friday 30th March. It will open from 10-12pm Saturday 31st April.

It will be closed Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd April, and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd April from 8am-8pm as usual.

Inquiry meeting with BAME communities in Bristol

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse is hosting a meeting today with Bristol’s black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) community leaders to raise awareness of the Truth Project.

Victims and survivors of child sexual abuse will be speaking at the event, as well as the Head of Inquiry Office for the South West, David Poole.
